Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Services Lead to coordinate camp services at the Malabo Dos (MDOS) facility for Noble Energy EG Ltd (Chevron). This staff augmentation role focuses on service coordination, planning, and acting as the primary interface between Chevron and third‑party service providers. The position has no authority over personnel management, commercial decisions, or employment matters, and operates strictly within Chevron’s staff augmentation and co‑employment guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily camp service activities (catering, housekeeping, laundry and general hospitality) with third‑party providers, escalating issues through established Chevron channels.
• Support catering and kitchen operations by coordinating weekly menus and catering programs in line with nutritional, cultural, and operational requirements, without directly supervising personnel.
• Coordinate non‑commercial procurement and logistics for groceries, consumables, and related supplies through approved local and international suppliers, ensuring availability while respecting budget and sourcing controls managed by Chevron.
• Act as the primary interface between Chevron and hospitality/housekeeping contractors, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards and resolving operational issues constructively.
• Develop and maintain weekly camp service plans and schedules aligned with camp occupancy, rotations, and operational needs.
• Support adherence to HSE and food safety requirements across camp services, reporting observations, non‑conformances, and improvement opportunities through established processes.
• Monitor camp facilities and service areas, raising maintenance and service concerns to the appropriate Chevron focal points and third‑party providers.
• Maintain accurate coordination records (service plans, menus, consumption data, issues log, supplier coordination records) and contribute to internal reviews and audits as required.
• Uphold Chevron’s image and standards in all interactions with service providers, suppliers, and camp residents, promoting a respectful, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Operate strictly within co‑employment boundaries, with no authority to hire, terminate, discipline, appraise, or directly supervise service
Requirements
• Proven experience in camp services, catering, hospitality, or remote site operations, preferably in oil and gas or similar industrial environments.
• Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple service activities in a busy camp setting.
• Good understanding of catering, housekeeping, and hospitality operations, including basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Solid HSE mindset with disciplined execution in a remote/high‑risk environment, and familiarity with company HSE procedures.
• Experience interfacing with third‑party service providers and suppliers, with clear understanding of non‑commercial coordination roles and boundaries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling feedback and resolving service issues constructively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work rotational onshore assignments and adapt to multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of staff augmentation and co‑employment principles is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
