Position: Senior TAR & Project Engineer
Location: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea
Work Schedule: Office-based during planning; offshore during execution
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior TAR & Project Engineer to support offshore brownfield projects and turnaround activities on the Alen Platform. The role focuses on project engineering support, scope development, workpack preparation, interface coordination, and on-site execution support. This position also plays a key role in mentoring less experienced engineers and ensuring technical compliance throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support turnaround and project engineering activities from planning through execution.
• Define scopes, develop workpacks, and coordinate engineering inputs across disciplines.
• Manage interfaces, technical changes, and risk mitigation measures.
• Support offshore execution and provide on-site technical assistance when required.
• Monitor project progress, cost, and compliance with technical requirements.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to strengthen team capability.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience in offshore projects and turnaround support.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage technical change and deliver under pressure.
• Offshore safety certification such as BOSIET preferred.
