Role Overview
We are seeking an Onshore Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance delivery and reliability for both offshore and onshore assets in the Mid‑Africa region. The role coordinates maintenance and reliability activities, supports planning and execution of programs and minor projects, and ensures assets such as the Alen Production Platform and Aseng FPSO are maintained and operated in accordance with Chevron standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate maintenance activities across offshore and onshore facilities to support equipment reliability and availability.
• Support development and implementation of inspection and maintenance strategies aligned with reliability and integrity requirements.
• Provide technical support to maintenance planning teams for scope definition, job plans, resource loading, and scheduling.
• Help drive reliability programs including defect elimination, condition based monitoring, and failure analysis.
• Support asset integrity initiatives, including risk based inspection, corrosion management, and critical equipment strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee minor maintenance projects and campaigns from planning through execution and close out.
• Interface with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and offshore maintenance teams to resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and performance, and recommend improvements to work management processes.
• Support shutdown and turnaround planning and readiness for offshore assets.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with Chevron Operational Excellence, HES, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
• Significant maintenance experience in oil & gas or similar industrial operations, covering offshore and onshore assets.
• Broad technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Experience in maintenance planning, reliability programs, and asset integrity management.
• Strong project management and coordination skills, including managing minor projects and campaigns.
• Experience with SAP CMMS (or equivalent) for work management and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
