Position: Driver
Location: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to provide safe transportation of passengers to designated destinations while ensuring the vehicle remains in proper working condition. The role requires strong attention to safety, compliance with traffic laws, and adherence to company policies at all times. The Driver will also be responsible for completing required documentation and maintaining a professional relationship with passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely and efficiently to various destinations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, including body condition, fuel, tires, lights, fluids, and safety tools.
• Report any vehicle defects or problems identified during inspections.
• Comply with all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Follow proactive driving training and safe driving practices.
• Remain attentive while driving and avoid phone use while operating the vehicle.
• Inform passengers about safety measures, including seat belt use.
• Maintain a professional and positive relationship with passengers.
• Complete required documentation, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and vehicle checklist forms.
• Assist with other transport-related duties as operational needs change.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the role.
• Proven experience as a driver or in a similar transport role.
• Good knowledge of traffic rules and safe driving practices.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify faults.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High level of responsibility, discipline, and attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
