Position: Project Engineer
Location: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea
Work Schedule: Office-based with periodic offshore visits
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to provide engineering, coordination, and execution support for offshore brownfield projects on the Alen Platform. This role is responsible for ensuring engineering deliverables and workpacks are complete, compliant, and aligned with project objectives. The position involves close coordination across multiple disciplines, technical interface management, risk control, and support to quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for offshore brownfield projects from planning through execution.
• Review constructability, resolve technical issues, and support offshore site visits as required.
• Ensure engineering deliverables, workpacks, and documentation are complete and compliant.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities and manage technical interfaces between stakeholders.
• Support risk management, issue resolution, and quality assurance activities.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of scope.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience supporting offshore projects, preferably brownfield scopes.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-focused, multidisciplinary environment.
• Offshore safety certification preferred.
