Hiring – Onshore Maintenance Support Advisor

Location: Mdos / Malabo, Equatorial Guinea (supporting offshore and onshore assets)
Work Schedule: Onshore office‑based assignment with offshore/site visits as required

Role Overview

We are seeking an EG Onshore Maintenance Support Advisor to support maintenance teams across offshore and onshore facilities, ensuring equipment reliability, availability, and integrity. The role spans maintenance delivery, campaign planning, equipment reliability programs, asset integrity initiatives, and minor projects, working closely with Engineering and Operations to improve maintenance performance across multiple platforms and offices.

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance delivery and support (approx. 30% of time) to offshore and onshore teams, helping resolve day to day technical and work management issues.
• Support planning and coordination of maintenance campaigns (approx. 10%), including scope definition, scheduling, and logistics.
• Lead or contribute to equipment reliability programs (approx. 25%) such as defect elimination, condition based monitoring, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Support asset integrity programs (approx. 25%), including risk based inspection, corrosion management, and integrity reviews of critical equipment.
• Contribute to minor projects (approx. 10%) from concept through execution, ensuring integration with existing maintenance programs.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering disciplines to assess technical options, review design changes, and ensure maintainability.
• Assist with bid evaluations, technical clarifications, and contractor performance reviews for maintenance activities.
• Provide technical input for shutdown and turnaround planning, readiness, and post execution reviews.
• Monitor maintenance and reliability KPIs and recommend improvements to strategies, procedures, and work practices.
• Ensure all maintenance support activities comply with Chevron HES, Operational Excellence, and regulatory requirements.

 Requirements

• Solid experience in maintenance and reliability within oil & gas or comparable industrial operations.
• Good working knowledge of mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of risk based inspection and maintenance programs and asset integrity principles.
• Experience with condition based monitoring and reliability improvement methods.
• Strong project management and coordination skills, including experience managing minor projects and campaigns.
• Familiarity with SAP CMMS (or equivalent) for maintenance work management and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
