Role Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Advisor to provide operational support and coordination across logistics, transportation and mobility for Mid-Africa operations, ensuring alignment with business needs and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate day-to-day logistics activities (transportation, freight, personnel and materials movements) across Mid-Africa operations
• Support execution of logistics plans in alignment with operational priorities and HSSE standards
• Develop and maintain logistics performance reports and dashboards, providing insights to management
• Support financial oversight of logistics costs, including tracking, variance analysis and cost optimization
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure reliable, cost-effective logistics solutions
• Maintain accurate logistics data, documentation and records to support planning, reporting and compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and service delivery
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field
• Relevant experience in logistics or transportation roles, preferably in the energy or industrial sector
• Strong coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and produce clear operational and performance reports
• Good financial awareness and understanding of cost drivers in logistics operations
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with Chevron or similar major operator logistics processes is an advantage
