Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Advisor to provide expert advisory support and governance leadership across the full supply chain, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation and continuous improvement of SCM functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide governance oversight across end-to-end SCM processes in line with corporate policies and standards
• Lead SCM self-assessments, track compliance gaps and drive corrective action plans
• Develop, maintain and report SCM performance metrics and dashboards
• Identify and drive process improvements, standardization and best practice implementation across SCM
• Partner with category management, contracting, materials, logistics and finance to support business needs
• Support audits, risk reviews and assurance activities related to SCM
• Contribute to capability building, coaching and knowledge sharing within the SCM team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in supply chain, contracts, procurement or related functions (energy/industrial environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of SCM governance, compliance and risk management
• Proven ability to analyze data, develop KPIs and produce management reports/dashboards
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience working for Chevron is a plus
