Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Services Lead to manage and coordinate offshore catering and accommodation services on the Alen Platform. The role focuses on leading kitchen and housekeeping teams to deliver high standards of food production, hygiene, and accommodation quality while controlling costs, ensuring compliance with safety and food standards, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living environment for all personnel.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise kitchen, mess, and accommodation teams to ensure high-quality food production and service delivery in line with company standards.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor daily catering operations, ensuring meals are nutritious, varied, on time, and aligned with dietary and cultural requirements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards, including implementation of relevant procedures (e.g., HACCP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of galley, storage, dining, and accommodation areas to verify cleanliness, hygiene, and safe working conditions.
  • Organize and deliver staff training and coaching programs covering food safety, hygiene, customer service, and safe work practices.
  • Manage inventories, stock rotation, and ordering of food, beverages, cleaning materials, and consumables, ensuring cost control and minimal waste.
  • Ensure all catering and accommodation equipment is maintained in safe working condition, coordinating with Maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor adherence to HSSE policies and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with offshore safety regulations.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, implementing corrective actions to continuously improve service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports (menus, consumption, costs, inspections, non-conformances, training) and support internal/external audits.
  • Uphold company image and standards in all interactions and communications with clients, vendors, and offshore personnel.
  • Collaborate closely with offshore Management, HSE, and Logistics to align services with operational needs and contractual service level agreements.

 Requirements

  • Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or remote site/offshore services, with responsibility for kitchen and/or accommodation operations.
  • Demonstrated people-management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop diverse teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards; experience with systems such as HACCP is an advantage.
  • Solid HSSE mindset with disciplined execution in a high-risk offshore or remote environment.
  • Experience managing inventories, cost control, and adherence to budgets and sourcing policies.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple activities in a busy operational setting.
  • Good communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to handle feedback and resolve issues constructively.
  • Ability to work rotational offshore assignments and adapt to multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.
