Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Advisor to support offshore production operations on the Alen Platform. The role focuses on mentoring, coaching, and advising deck operators and production personnel to strengthen operational capability, reinforce safe work practices, and support reliable production performance through strong field presence and technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
• Mentor and advise deck operators, trainees, and contractors during routine operations, start-ups, commissioning, and abnormal situations to build competence and confidence.
• Support and reinforce competency/development programs, strengthening troubleshooting skills and response to process upsets.
• Advise deck production activities, including assessing production impacts and coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Provide guidance to the operations crew when senior supervision is unavailable, ensuring safe and disciplined execution.
• Coach personnel in work planning/execution: review work packages, verify isolations, and support permit issuance.
• Advise facility and well optimization activities (dry tree and subsea operations), including well testing and communicating observations to engineering teams.
• Support chemical optimization programs, process surveillance, and interpretation of operating data.
• Act as an advisor for Operational Excellence and Process Safety activities, including MOC participation, RCA processes, and incident investigations.
• Provide guidance during monitoring/operation of wells, process equipment, and utility systems to ensure safe, reliable performance.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering; contribute to functional networks.
Key Requirements
• Proven offshore production operations experience (gas/condensate facilities preferred).
• Strong mentoring/coaching capability with demonstrated ability to develop operator competency.
• Strong HSSE mindset with disciplined execution in a high-risk offshore environment.
• Experience supporting Process Safety / Operational Excellence activities (e.g., MOC, RCA, investigations).
• Ability to work rotational offshore assignments with high situational awareness and strong stakeholder coordination.
