Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate Material Handler to ensure the safe handling, storage, movement and documentation of materials on offshore facilities, supporting reliable operations in a challenging offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against documentation and quality standards
• Safely handle, store and stage materials and equipment in accordance with offshore and HSSE requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock counts, issues, returns and transfers
• Assist with waste management activities, ensuring proper segregation, storage and backload of waste materials
• Support loading and backloading of supply vessels, including cargo preparation and documentation
• Operate material handling equipment as authorized and in line with procedures
• Report and escalate any material discrepancies, damages or HSSE concerns promptly
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous offshore or industrial material handling experience preferred
• Knowledge of safe material handling, lifting practices and inventory processes
• Valid offshore survival/BOSIET (or equivalent) and rigging/slinging certification required
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding offshore conditions and confined spaces
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule (28/28 or similar)
• Strong safety commitment, communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under supervision and within a multi-disciplinary offshore team
