Position: National Production Technician
Location: Offshore (Equatorial Guinea)

Role Overview
We are seeking a National Production Technician to support day-to-day offshore production operations at the Alen platform. The role ensures safe and reliable operation of production/process equipment, supports maintenance preparation, and responds to abnormal and emergency conditions in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production units safely per approved procedures/targets
- Maintain a safe work environment(JSAs, SWC, SYLA, inspections, hazard ID, incident reporting)
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and return plant to service using PTW & LOTO requirements
- Support emergency readiness and fulfill assigned roles
- Operate and monitor process equipment, utilities, and wells; troubleshoot routine issues and process upsets
- Participate in start-up, commissioning, and shutdown activities (including contractor support)
- Review work packages for planned maintenance and support safe execution
- Carry out equipment inspections and maintain housekeeping within assigned units
- Maintain chemical inventories and injection rates within limits and operating targets
- Record operational changes, log unit activities, and communicate performance to control room/affected teams
- Support Operational Excellence and Process Safety activities (II&R participation and follow-ups)
- Work effectively with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams
Requirements
Chevron experience is a plus.
