Position: Mooring Master

Location: Equatorial Guinea (Onshore)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mooring Master to oversee safe, compliant tanker mooring, loading, and unmooring operations in Equatorial Guinea. The Mooring Master represents Chevron and coordinates export activities with FPSO crews, tankers, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead/coordinate marine export operations and ensure compliance with HSSE and marine standards.
- Conduct pre-offtake meetings and control export marine activities during berthing/loading/unberthing.
- Vet tankers and monitor weather, tanker positioning, mooring integrity, and operational readiness.
- Manage export-related documentation, reporting, and liaison with relevant authorities/agents.
- Ensure support vessels/tugs/export equipment are suitable and operationally ready.
Requirements
- Master Mariner (Unlimited)certification under STCW.
- Demonstrated offshore experience in tanker mooring/export operations (energy/industrial preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of ISGOTT, MARPOL, SOLASand a disciplined safety mindset.
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field (or equivalent operational experience).
- Chevron experience is a plus.
